Responsable tourism

SARDI promotes responsible tourism as an economic and conservation alternative, taking advantage of the charisma of river dolphins. To this end, it has developed regional protocols that guarantee observation tourism without affecting the natural behavior of the species. SARDI trains environmental agents, park rangers, protected area managers and local communities, promoting ecotourism that respects wildlife, values traditional knowledge and contributes to the protection of dolphins and their ecosystems.
